1- Usage:
we use to talk about things that
haven't happened yet and to talk about an action or condition that will
begin in the future. It is used with plans, decisions, predictions, offers, and
promises.
2- The form of the sentence in
simple future:
subject+ will/(be+ going to)+
basic form of the verb(verb 1)
e.g.: - I will start writing my blogs soon.
- He
will teach me English rules on Sunday.
-They are going to go dancing.
3- Keywords of simple future:
tomorrow, in(future year, month,
week), on( future day), next( week, month, year, name of days), and someday.
4- Examples:
- I am going to finish my studying the next two years. (informal language)
- They will meet us on Sunday
at 10 a.m.
- She will travel to London
someday.
Future Progressive:
1-Usage:
Future progressive is used to talk
about an action that will start in the future and will continue for a period of time.
2-The Formation of the
sentence in the future progressive:
Subject+ will(be+ going to)+ be +
(V-ing)
e.g.: I will be studying tomorrow all night.
- He is going to be a MA student next year.
3-Keywords of the future progressive:
In+ period of future time(in two weeks),
this time tomorrow, this time week.
4- Examples:
I will be visiting my friend this
time tomorrow.
She is going to be writing her
new essay in two days.
We will be launching our company at
this time next year.
They are going to be publishing their
work at this time tomorrow.
Future Perfect:
1-Usage
This tense is used to talk about
an action that will be done or finished before another future point in time.
2-The formation of the sentence
in the future perfect:
Subject+ will+ have+ past
participle of the verb(Verb 3)
e.g.:-I will have finished the project before sunrise.
-He will have graduated from university in
two months.
3-Keyword of the future perfect:
By two months, weeks, years. In three
days, weeks, years, months
When, before.
4-Examples:
I will have walked with my
friends when the sunset.
He will have finished the
building in three days.
They will have sold all the goods
by two weeks.
Future Perfect Progressive:
1-Usage:
It is used to talk about an
action that will start in the future and will continue over time up to a point in
the future.
2-The Formation of the future
perfect progressive:
Subject+ will+ have+ been+ present
participle(V-ing)
e.g.: I will have been running for three hours when
this clock is 11 a:m.
3-Keywords of the future perfect
progressive:
They are the same as any other future
tense but they indicate continuous action.
4-Examples:
I’ll have been dancing for 30 minutes by then.
He’ll have been working for 36
hours by 7 o’clock.
We’ll have been combing for 3
months by the next week.
